Ollie Wines Player Bio

Ollie Wines is one of the premier midfielders in the competition, with his elite on-ball skills and exceptional endurance rarely matched. Wines’ physical pressure and high tackle rate make him a defensive beast, but it’s his vision and clean ball use that makes his presence so damaging. Despite having some injury concerns in the past, Wines played every game of the 2021 season. He led Port Adelaide in disposals, contested possessions and stoppage clearances, finishing the season as All-Australian and the club’s best and fairest. To top off his career best year, Wines was named Brownlow medallist, polling in a record 16 games and tying Dustin Martin for most votes polled with 36.
